The Art of Presence
Sept. 29 - October 5th
Being present with your Self and in your life is the single most healing, inspiring and transformative practice you will ever learn...
Join me, Peter Kater for 7 days and 6 nights in a beautiful valley
7 miles from Estes Park, Colorado at the Dao House Retreat
Cenver. On a nature playground of 86 acres of lush mountain
trails with elk, deer and beautiful forests, surrounded by
majestic views, the Dao House sits at 9,200 ft at the base of
Longs Peak (14,250 ft).
“If you want to be utterly transported, you want the magic and the music of Peter Kater. Once you hear what his mind, his heart, his soul and his fingers do with a keyboard, nothing less and nothing else will do.”
Neale Donald Walsch
author "Conversations With God"
It inspires instant peace-of-mind and well-being. We will enjoy a beautiful warm and dry Rocky Mountain fall with aspen leaves peaking during our indian summer retreat. There’s something magical about the golden light and peace that radiates through the mountains at this time of year. Autumn is by far my favorite time in Colorado.
I’ve created a loose schedule of activities and events throughout the week designed to help us relax and drop ourselves in a deep, present, inspired and loving way. I’ll be playing music everyday in our beautiful large retreat space, the Longs Peak Conference Room. Yamaha is providing a beautiful seven and a half foot grand piano that I’ll position in the huge picture window view of Long’s Peak. The fire place will be burning brightly for our optional yoga and stretching class before breakfast and our morning music and presence sessions. Activities will be scheduled in the mornings before lunch and in the evenings, leaving the afternoons completely free for our own free time.
Either take a nap under the aspen trees, take a walk through amazing pine forests or sign up for some backpacking, rock climbing, mountain biking, ascent climbs, fishing, or well-being centered activities like massage or Tai Chi classes in your free time. And then we’ll reconvene as a group and share more music and experiences together.
The restaurant will be serving organic healthy food choices, three meals a day, coupled with a hearty healthy pub menu of exotic beers, wines and refreshing drinks on their open-air patio looking at the majestic mountains.
Our rooms will all be in the main lodge, an impressive large building made of tree logs and stone. Shared rooms with two queen beds and private rooms with King size beds are available, all with private baths.

Because The Dao House has it’s own restaurant I thought everyone would enjoy the convenience of choosing their own meals etc. That is also part of the reason why the tuition for this retreat is less than my other retreats. You can dine as you choose. The restaurant is reasonably priced and serves delicious, healthy and mostly organic foods.
A deposit is needed to reserve your space. The deposit is 100% refundable if you cancel 60 days before the retreat. It’s 50% refundable if you cancel 30 days before the retreat and nonrefundable after 30 days before the retreat. Full tuition is due 30 days before the retreat.

“My soul was dancing with delight as Peter created a musical masterpiece right in the moment. It was awe inspiring to witness the birth of a song that was in tune with my energy. It felt as if the melody captured the very essence of my being.”
This will be amazing!
Deep Presence ... Deep Experience
“Being present to Peter’s music live and listening to it every day since has created a profound opening experience in my heart, something I find almost hard to describe with words. It is like it has touched every sadness, every hurt, every deep joy and has left me with a profound sense of peace that continues to be present in everything I do. This experience feels like an awakening in me...”
